Founder, President/Executive Director

Krystal Brass is the Founder of I Care Community Development Corporation (I Care CDC ), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2017. Krystal is also the owner/clinical director of Sh’ma Support Services, LLC, a conscientious mental health, faith-based practice. She's a native Nevadan attending and receiving her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Krystal is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, a Licensed Evangelist Missionary, and has over 23 years as a licensed social worker serving in the areas of geriatric & pediatric end of life care, aging & disability, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, homelessness, behavioral health, grief & loss, as well clinical work with adults, children, adolescents, and families.

Krystal is a former adjunct faculty member with University of Phoenix-Las Vegas Campus where she received an Excellent Faculty honor. She worked as an UNLV-School of Social Work Field Liaison. She serves as a Social Work Agency Field Instructor with UNLV and Aurora University. Krystal has over 20 years in hospice. She’s a former Director of Social Services for a hospice where she supported the social work, spiritual and bereavement teams.

Krystal enjoys singing and spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons.

Andrew Brass, Jr., B.S. Psychology

Treasurer

Andrew Brass, Jr., graduated from Northern Arizona University and earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology.  He has 13 years of retail management experience. Andrew has been a Juvenile Probation Officer II with Clark County Juvenile Justice for the past 23 years. His passion is youth empowerment and coaching in which he holds a USA Track & Field coaching certification. Andrew has coached youth track and field for the past 27 years. He's the founder and head coach of the Nevada Storm Youth Track Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a Certified Official with USA Track & Field.

Wendy Treadwell

Secretary

Wendy Treadwell has more than 15 years of corporate training and supervisory experience. She's been employed with the Las Vegas Justice Court for the past 15 years. Wendy has worked in the Civil Division, and is currently a Courtroom Clerk in the Criminal Division for the Honorable Rebecca Saxe. Wendy is a 2019 graduate of the Clark County Management Academy. She has a passion for training and program development in the area to include but not limited to policies and procedures.
